The Letter by Lee Teter
$525.00
Letters have the ability to convey visions of things seen by other eyes. They transport happiness . . . and sometimes sadness. Letters are physical vehicles of spiritual things. Roberta still has Charlie`s letters written during the war. George wrote letters to Libby and she kept them all. Mabel kept a very personal note Jake wrote to her in 1924. It said, "Remember the night it rained and rained and the one who loves you gave you this". Many letters kept by ladies record mundane things no one would find interesting, except the lady it was written for. Some letters can make a lady forget time, stop breathing and feel her own heart beat half a century after it was written. Paper may become brittle and yellow and ink may fade with age but the words are timeless; ageless. The pictures created by the words are always fresh and forever young. Knowing the paper was touched by a familiar hand and each letter formed by a caring hand, keep letters very precious. There is nothing like a message written by a hand, connected to a heart that is connected to another heart.
There is nothing quite like a letter.
